Caribe Opti Lab Inc. Is a 100% Puerto Rican company founded by Lic. Angel Luis Rosado Colón, Lic. #46. Mr. Rosado started his optical laboratory called Optical Products and Services in 1972. In 1981 he bought the American Optical laboratory and relocated the facilities to Jose De Diego Avenue in Rio Piedras under the name Caribe Opti Lab. acquires three adjacent properties, which allowed to expand the inventory of lenses and acquire more machinery for the benefit of its customers. For the past 40 years Caribe Opti Lab has been run by a member of the Rosado family.

Caribe is the only laboratory with more than 40 years of experience in Puerto Rico. The support of highly satisfied customers has kept us at the forefront of optical laboratories across the island.
We have the most advanced equipment in the optics industry. We process a wide variety of materials such as polycarbonate, CR39, Trivex and anything considered high index lenses in our facilities. We were among the first to process digital lenses on the Island, improving our designs every year and adding new ones.
Our human team is one of proven experience and which keeps taking educational workshops in and outside of Puerto Rico with the purpose of providing an excellent service to our clients.
